I am a single mum. Sorry about my being irreasonable and non logical writing. As I am so upset after my son pushed me while I refused to connect internet. (as he has been addictive during whole weeks and days) He shouted , threathened and refused to leave my room only to confisticate my phones.I shout him back not to take my phone away, but he kept trying while I resisted with throwing cups etc. At least , I was pushed to sofa head . If I call police to give him a warning, does it leave a record on CRB?

How old is your son?

Heaney31 · 20/01/2020 16:49

He is 20

I'd be calling the police to eject him from the property and then changing the locks. He is exactly the sort of person who needs to be nowhere near vulnerable people so if a call to the police results in a record that would be seen on a DBS check that's a good thing. How dare he treat you like that?

But to answer your question
Standard DBS checks show details of spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings held on police records. Enhanced DBS checks show the same information as standard checks, plus any additional information held by local police considered relevant to the role in question.

I'd have a chat with the police and ask them. You may find they'll offer to 'have a word', with your son and that might be enough to give him the wake-up call he needs.
Your son needs boundaries and you need to be safe . I'd tell him he's on a final warning and any more disrespectful behaviour any more aggression towards you will result in the police being called and him having to move out. And if that makes him homeless then so being it.
Tough love OP. Tough love Flowers

Think he needs a caution before it goes on record. However if he is so volatile maybe it would not be such a bad thing.
