My daughter is 21, she has autism and learning difficulties and has been suffering from depression, I have been to A&E with her on a few occasions due to this, we were referred to the home treatment team, who have referred her to the eating disorder service, as I expressed concern at her picky appetite, so we had an appointment recently where the psych at the eating disorder service, only spoke to my daughter and then informed me that she will be admitted to hospital for "proper care". But I'm actually really worried about this it will be a specialist eating disorder ward, but have read some very bad reviews, also the fact that the ward team will not be trained to help those with autism/ld.
