Jealousy of a new baby in the family.

I wonder if anyone can help. I have a DN who is 6 and for all her life so far she's been the only child in our family. She is adored by all and the center of attention (not spoiled, just very loved).

In January I had DD and for the first time since then we are going to stay with my family in England. We're staying for a week and will be spending quite a lot of time with DN. Apparently, DN is already quite jealous of my DD and has made some nasty comments, or become upset when my sis and mother have talked about her.

Is there anything I can say or do to let my DN know that she is just as loved as ever? I'd love to write to her beforehand to let her know ho excited we all are to see her soon. Any neat phrases that I could use?

TIA.
