I have to go and collect my trophy from college as nobody told me I was nominated so I didn't go to the awards night.
I am very gobsmacked and a little bit proud of myself.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Congratulations! What were you studying?

purepurple · 06/07/2010 19:29

Thanks
I have just completed my second year of a three year foundation degree in professional practice in the early years.
It will take me three years as I work full time too.
I am a bit excited

You go girl! I didn't ever win an award and I was a normal 18-21 year old with no responsibilities .

Blimey, I am impressed and pleased for you - that's an achievement...

I obviously spent too much time in a alcoholic haze when I was a student..

onadietcokebreak · 08/07/2010 22:29

Well done! You deserve to be proud!

mixedmamameansbusiness · 13/07/2010 15:10

Well done. Very proud

purepurple · 17/07/2010 10:33

Thank you everyone
I have my trophy, a silver plate in a presentation box engraved with my name, so I get to keep it.
Not bad for a 43 year old.
