my first son wore washable nappies most of the time, which i was happy to invest in and i thought id still get a fairly good deal when i decided to resell them. my poor second son has never worn one as, quite frankly i have more than enough washing to do these days without adding piles of nappies to the list! i looked on ebay today to check the prices they were going for, and was a bit shocked to see they seem to be about a quid a pop! i was paying between 5 and 8 pounds per nappy i think when i bought them individually, although it was 4 years ago.. is this what theyre fetching these days?

I don't know about on ebay but after our last NCT sale I was surprised to see that hardly any washable nappies had sold, they were good prices too. I bought nappies second hand about 4 years ago and got back what I paid when I resold them.

I find that most second hand goods are going for much less than they used to -- not just nappies, but almost anything you can think of. Sign of the times, I guess.
