Would you say something if you saw somebody driving off with a 6 month old baby on someones lap in the front seat?

This makes me so angry and I have to confess I sometimes do say something, does this make me a nosey parker?

I've been checking out getting a third diagonal seartbelt in my car (currently only a lapbelt)
What do people think about having their kids strapped in with a lapbelt only?

Experts say that 70% of seats aren't fitted properly, work loose etc. so perhaps we are deluding ourselves that we are safer than we think.
Slow down on that school run!

Flum, what an odd statement? Do you really mean that it would be better for a baby to die in a car accident because their parents didn't make it?

I also think it's unfair to say PC is like the parenting police. There is no way round this, babies and children should be properly restrained in a car. Holding a child on the lap is effectively using the little one as an airbag .

Not having a go at you, but I agree with Peachy and that would also annoy me intensely.
