Is there any way of getting hold of TMA questions earlier...?

Ok, so after muuuuuch thought, I am going to be patient and wait until October to start a course so I can save up. That is, if I don't crack and register on one this month (registration closes on Friday for Feb courses, must resist....).

But I really don't want to rest on my laurels in the meantime, and think it would be great to get ahead by attempting some of the TMAs beforehand - I know there are resources on Openlearn but does anyone know if you can get example/past TMA questions anywhere? Obviously just the questions, not the answers!!

Also, can anyone tell what the difference in workload is between level2/3 literature courses? I really, really fancy Children's Literature (EA300) but I don't know how much harder it would be than say, Approaching Literature.

The only way that I know of is to ask someone who has already studied the course to send you the assignment booklet: it might be worth posting a request on the relevant forum (on FirstClass) or on a course-related Facebook group (if there is one)?

You can also purchase past exam papers here

ok, will try that. Thanks very much!

Have you done Approaching Literature then? If not then I have just started and can send you a copy of the TMA questions for that. Children's Literature is a really new course so you might have more trouble getting hold of that, but another MRner might be able to oblige.

Nightshoe - no, I haven't - I'm trying to decide whether to start with that or whether to go straight to children's literature - but a copy of the TMA questions for Approaching Literature would be brilliant. How would you send them? Would you need my email address/home address?
