Any recommendations, to make our GP's and dentist's lives easier when we visit, please? Current and available if possible! Thanks.

Peppa pig visits the dentist

ThePinkOne · 31/01/2010 21:56

Having seen Peppa Pig go to the dentist, we then spend a few days practicing before our appointment. When I brush DD's teeth I remind her that we're going soon and she will lie back in the dentist's chair (lay her back on my knee) and she will open her mouth and s/he will have a look and put her finger in your mouth like this (mummy pokes around!)

It really helped - the first time we went she jumped up in the dentist chair before me and opened her mouth really well. I forgot to do it last time and she wouldn't open her mouth at all!

We also have an Usborne book called Daisy Doctor which is really good.
