I put my ds (5 months) down on the lawn and went in to get a nappy. When I came back he had about 30 ants crawling all over him. I had to dig under his neck flab to get them out. He even had them in his mouth and when I got those ones out there was a bit of blood so they must have bitten him.
He barely cried, but I felt awfui.

Spidermama - As far as I know Ants don't bite! So I wouldn't worry about that. Poor wee lad.

Red ants bite - black ones don't.
