Nappies from costco rather than supermarket - any savings to be made?

Expecting #2 in april and planning on using disposable as i have done with DD1.

I've generally always bought tesco's own nappies but i'm considering getting a whole load from costco before the birth- a friend has a costco card.

I assume they only sell branded ones and so i wondered if anyone else has purchased big packs from their and whether there are big savings to be made compared to supermarkets own brands?

Nope they don't only sell branded.
They have their own brand too, never tried them but will be next time i'm at Costco.

I was actually really surprised at the savings on nappies and wipes and even bulk buying of other baby toiletries at Costco so definately worth a look and working out the cost per nappy etc.
(I did do that but forgot sorry)

They do only sell thier brand and if remember correctly they were the same price as pampers.

I do buy their own brand of wipes (8pkts 788 wipes for £12.00) as they do not bring my dc out in a rash, they are also thicker and bigger so i don't use as many as other brands.

HAve a look at Lidl's nappies. Significantly cheaper, and better, than Tescos. Score v.highly in MN nappy review.

Or save LOADS of money and use reusables and washable wipes .

My DH worked out that we had saved £250 just by ot using baby wipes up to the age of 2 and a half

My local Costco sell Huggies and their own brand Kirkland. I find it a big saving on the cost of huggies in supermarkets but probably makes them the same price as Tescos own etc.

Watch out for their "buy 3, save £14" offers and buy two boxes of wipes and get a 3rd free.
