So its been a year and all the spring/summer 04 mums are in the same boat! Dd is going to have a little family party on great grandma's lawn. As it will all be adults I thought of getting some balloons and a banner or some paper plates saying "one today" to give it some validity. However it is on Saturday and I need to buy the above from a shop as the internet will take too long, any ideas? Do card shops or supermarkets sell special first birthday balloons or paper plates? Please help.

Card shops like Clintons and Birthdays, and places like Wilkinsons, Woolworths, Asda and Tesco all stock them.
