My dd was just the same at that age, and I understand that many children are. She grew out of it.

My dd's both had reall stinky, mucousy poos when they were teething - and this was the only time they ever had nappy rash too - if you are still worried next week then pop along to the clinic and just have a word with the HV - if he's happy though I'm sure he'll be fine.

In the meantime get dh to change as many as possible!!

Actually, it lasted on and off until she was about 2. It wasn't all the time, she would go for a few weeks and then have a week or two like you describe. Although if you're at all concerned, your HV would be able to put your mind at rest.

Mine said that it was something called toddler diarrhoea, it's not a tummy upset or a bug, it's just something that happens to a lot of toddlers.
