ds has his first school trip tomorrow...I hope he doesn't get lost, sunstroke etc etc!

They are going to a safari park.

I am sure he will be fine.

Just a teeny bit worried though! Very pfb of me.

He tends to get very over excited. I hope he behaves himself. I bet he will be in the teachers group.. lol

Have visions of his lunch being hot and mushed up (has to go in a plastic bag and aparantly all the plastic bags get dumped in a black sack till lunchtime). Or him being all hot and tired. Or him running off ahead and getting into trouble.

These are all silly worries as he is always very good at school and with other people. And us Just excitable.

And I hope he isn't sad or worried. He is sensitive , bless him. Usually takes a snuggly on play dates etc. But wont be possible on trip.

I do have a the mobile number of one of the mum helpers. I will text her all day long maybe once.

He got to touch a stick insect and a snake at the talk and he saw the tigers which is the most important thing.

He claims his friend dropped his lunch in the zebra's field. Not sure if this is true as he is prone to tall tales but apparently the boy climbed the slatted fence (no different from the type that keep cows in a field) and dropped it then. And they were told not to climb apparently so he got told off.

This morning I saw the woman who looked after him for the day - should have asked her about the zebras! She said that DS was very well behaved so that was nice.

He was quite quiet when he got home but I think he was tired. He is now planning what he will see next time he goes so I think he enjoyed himself.

Worry over for another year. DS1 off to a tudor mansion on Wednesday but he has been a residental trip before and several day trips so I'm not worried about him!!

......Except now I am because I am worried by being complacent I will incite the bad luck fairy to come do her worst.
