Clippers or scissors?

I gave up on blunt baby scissors too. The best things I found were a pair of craft scissors in Tesco. They are nail scissor size but taper down into a really thin point that are perfect for tiny nails.

Adult clippers here too - found the special baby ones too thick to get under DD's nails and too blunt to actually cut. Doing it in front of Pingu tends to work too!
