Social life - post here only if you have one of your own!

Does anyone have a reasonable social life in their own right - independent of the kids? And what kind of things do you like to do?

I go out and get pissed with spacedonkey and leer at attractive barmen, trying to blag free drinks. Alternatively I have a make friend locally to me who I usually can guarantee will be in the pub if i fancy a drink. Making plans to go out to a club with him in the near future

Sorry no time to post here, just waiting for my friend to collect me we are off for dinner with 3 other mumsnetters.

No kids obv!

I go out normally 2-4 evenings a week either with DH or friends to pub quizzes or out for dinner or even poetry evenings in my village with the old dears!

I go to my writing class one morning a week too.

But then I have a 15 yr old DD who can babysit.
