my two ds are starting to ask regularly about a pet (they are 7 and 5). I have never been keen on having a dog or cat but wondered if anyone else had rabbit/guinea pig etc, and could help with pros/cons/life expectancy etc?

get fish!
we have two fat goldfish that are now 7.5 years old. They watch me washing up, and wiggle their fins when they are hungry. I love them to bits! I want a 'biorb' tank for the, but it's too big!
