i have a place to do my 18 month midwifery degree. starting in just 5 weeks.
was supposed to be funded by the strategic health authority with large bursery attatched.today i get a phone call saying actually SHA isn't going to fund it perhaps my existing NHS trust will but without the bursery bit. perhaps my NHS trust will keep on paying me. but perhaps not. i have handed in my notice. i leave my trust in 4 weeks. after that i will not have a job.
my NHS trust is highly unlikely to want to carry on paying me for the next 18 months when i am not working for them. and if they do it would be a basic salary taxed and national insurence taken off. leaving me a bit skint. so skint i don't think i'd be able to afford it.
which leaves me stuffed.
am extraordinarily pissed off. and more than a little concerned about my lack of job.
