Lady bits

What are you teaching your DCs to call their private bits?

I don't want to teach her "vagina" (bit clinical for a toddler!) and think "front bottom" is a little odd. My favourite is "fanjo" after seeing it on MN, but I don't want DD to be chucked out of nursery for being rude!

Any suggestions?

CoffeandCarrotCake - I have argued your point many times on Mumsnet - and every time I get Vulva shouted at me - so I've now taken to doing it myself - possibley due to a little too much wine last night.

As coined by my best friend (a fellow mumsnetter) for her dd when she was born -DOODAH. Now used by all our friends for our little girl's vulvas (I hate that word).

Vagina. Best to teach them the proper words, I say. They will pick up nicknames at school.
