How many of your children's toys get lost each year?

I am getting a hard time from my dp because one of dd's favourite toys got lost yesterday while we were out.

I think he is completely out of order as I think it's a miracle that more haven't been lost and was quite proud of my record. DD is 2.5 and think this is the third toy in this time to be lost.

Which got me wondering how many toys 'vanished' on average with other Mums?

My ds is now 5 and is Lego mad. I dont' know how many pieces have been lost. Also left a Thomas & Friend train on an aeroplane once. His fav cuddly nearly got left in Bulgaria - we had to get our taxi driver to turn back and go and find it - ds had stuffed it into a small cubby hole in the lodge we stayed in!!

I can only think of two. My kids are 9, 7 and 2.

That is not counting ones that hae been lost, then found.

Wallace - I had a giggle - When I read your post I read it like 'my kids are 9,7 & 2 - and that's not counting the ones that have been lost then found'!! I remember being lost as a child in a big dept store - this made me giggle!!!
