Has anyone ever used one of these slings, are they any good?

These

I have a very small budget and these look good. I don't have a clue about slings but I would really like to try one. I do have a baby carrier but it really pulls on my neck and the top of my back, I'm hoping a sling won't do that.

Haven't used one of those but I do have a moby which I love. They're around £30 new but I think you can get them around £20 used on ebay. They're really comfortable - I have a bad back but can still carry my 4.5 month old comfortably for quite a while

Yes I have used one. It wasn' mine but borrowed from a friend. THe bit that goes over your shoulder is really padded so is quite comfy. I hate regular baby carriers too.

The woman that designed this has 12 children too, so that says a lot about it for me.

If I have DC3 I will definitley be buying from her

I have this one coorie

I bought it before DD2 was born and then had a really sore back do never really got to use it, if you want it I can sell it to you for about £15 including postage as I am always saying I need to sell some slings.

sweetkitty · 22/11/2008 15:57

Forgot to say it's navy blue and has hardly been used.

looks like a standard unpadded ring sling to me (not sure if you're talking about the same thing loola - she says in the listing she doesn't pad her slings). they're a really versatile sling ime, especially for small babies, short trips, up and down toddlers etc. not as comfy as a wrap/mei tai for hour+ trips but a good buy i reckon.

I have it and liked it well enough. A bit confusing to put together for the first time, and make sure you don't lose the CD like I did as you will need it for future postions as baby grows. I stopped using mine quite early on, before 12 months as we couldn't get to grips with the back carry and baby was too heavy for other positions.

Thank you

They do do a padded one that costs a bit more, this is the cheapest one of that style they do.

I have spoken to DP sweetkitty and we would love to try that one, if you could email me please, purple flower 1 @ live.co.uk (no spaces)
