Opinions on the swim happy nappy

Is this swim nappy ok to use on its own?

It's often advertised as recommended as one of the two layers asked for by some of the swimming lessons, but DS will be going to the local Council swimming pool and they have no such requirements!

i wouldnt tbh,, i have only ever used mine with a swim nappy. i think contact with wee etc would spoil the neoprene base faster.

Think would def need to be part of a double layered thing. We've only ever used doubled up with disp swim nappy for waterbabies classes and like that are as bomb proof as can be - don't think would work as single layer as no absorbancy to it iyswim.
