What do you do all day?
What do you play?
Naps? Feeds? Routines? Activities?

Peachy, my ds is doing the frequent waking thing too . Last night I decided not to feed him any more than every 3 hours so when he woke between feeds I left him. Shock- he didn't cry, just grumbled and sighed then went back to sleep. Ok, I still got woken up but didn't have to get out of bed and it was only for a coupl eof minutes pshock] I might go for 4 hours tonight
Just realised OP said 5 motnhs and my ds is 7 months- does that still count?

Peachy · 30/09/2008 10:15

Mine screetched until he fed. But- this is the gitty bit- the feeds I could cope with but he won't sleep atm unless latched on after 2am. We've tried a bottle but won't take the teat in his mout, not a dummy.

DS4 is 6 months next week- so only just in the space of 5 months I guess

Oh Peachy, doesn't sound good. I'm still exc bfing ds but he will take a bottle if necessary. Dd never would though so I feel your pain!
My ds sucks his thumb at night, would yours do this instead of latching on?

wastingmyeducation · 30/09/2008 11:29

I actually can't do ours as it's so random.

Come on - more please! {grin]

I get up at 6.15, 2 dcs still asleep.
6.40 wake DS to go to school
7am wake 5 month dd, milk, dressed
7.30 into pram to walk to school with brother.
8.30 sleep (power nap only 30 mins or so)
9am playing, either at home or baby group
10am milk, then back into pram to pick up brother from school
11am home from school, playing on baby gym or in walker
11.30 - 12 back to bed
2pm wakes, milk, plays on gym or back in pram to go to park or walk the dog
3.30pm sleep, has an hour or so
5.30pm bathtime
6pm milk, playing, stories
6.30pm - sparko!
11pm - dreamfeed, ready to do it all again the next day!!
Not a particularly exciting day, but we sometimes go to the shops while big brother is at pre-school. I thought I had quite a fluid routine, but writing it down is interesting!

muppety · 30/09/2008 14:44

Mmmmmm

Up about 630. BF.

BF again 8am to get me through school run.

School run 830 and 20 min power nap.

BF again then play.

Bottle 11am ish then 30 mins sleep.

Bottle.breast 2pm ish.

School run.

Oh dear its very haphazard. Lots and lots of feeding as always hungry and very little sleep at all in the day even when out and about. Who said 3rd babies were supposed to be easy?
