DD3 is in cloth full time we never use disposables and it occurred to me why am i wasting money on wet wipes when i can make and wash my own. I have bought a plastic tub to put them in but what liquid should i put them in? How many should i need? I only do a nappy wash every 4-5 days as drypail with 2 big buckets.
Thanks

Flame is the foamy wipe lotion the Northern Essence stuff? I bought some from Andee's Kool Kids ages ago. The smell is quite overpowering so it put me off a bit (I prefer plain water), but it does swiftly get rid of that pooey smell when necessary and makes the nappy bucket smell nice when you pop the used wipes in

yup that is the one

It is really good value for money actually, my bottle has been going for ages. I keep it in my change bag for those 'just in case' moments. It stops the change bag from stinking if you have had to clean up a pooey nappy while you are out and about too

My DS' both have eczema so am always a bit apprehensive to use it unless really necessary as it does smell a bit potent (but I'm sure it is gentle enough as we have never had any skin reactions)
