err, when is foreskin supposed to pull back? As DS at 3yrs 9months was firmly in place last time I checked...

Morloth · 17/07/2008 22:06

You check? phwoar you are a good mummy! I have no idea, he seems to have sorted it though. I wouldn't worry about it apparently it all happens rather naturally.

This thread is hilarious - ah, the joys which lie ahead.

I especially snorted at davidtennantsmistress

My DS has just started messing with his....Dp calls it his 'tentpeg'

Monkeytrousers · 18/07/2008 01:44

DS - 3.10 - has just discovered the pleasure of a retractabke foreskin. Left alone to explore, it will become sore!

Monkeytrousers · 18/07/2008 01:45

We actually have ds on video at about 8 months discovering himself. That'll be one to play for the future wife

JacobsPrincess · 18/07/2008 03:10

Maybe you could splice the video into the wedding day montage Monkeytrousers?!
It could trump the best mans speech...

UnderRated · 18/07/2008 03:44

I love this thread

Ds often calls me into the bathroom shouting, "Mummy, LOOK! My penis is getting big"

fedupandisolated · 18/07/2008 07:02

Oh this thread is hilarious
My DS says "Look Mummy it's standing up" (which is not surprising since his hand is glued down there at times).

Usually all I can mange is an absent minded "That's nice dear"

Ewww! At pulling foreskin back - never seen DS do this and don't think I want to.

feetheart · 18/07/2008 07:10

SO funny and SO relevant.

DS (2.8) has just decided he wants to wear pants not a nappy and now has free access to his willy which he is finding FASCINATING. I keep getting called from whatever important task I am doing to be told 'Look Mummy, it get bigger"

sphil · 18/07/2008 07:12

DS1(7): "I've been doing a lot of adventuring with my willy lately Mum" {grin}

BouncingTurtle · 18/07/2008 07:16

So this is what me(with 6.5 ds) and my friend(with 10mo ds) have to look forward to!
They already play with their willies. Friend's ds has taken to rooting inside his nappy prompting his dad to reassure him "Don't worry son, the willy fairy hasn't taken it away!"

Buda · 18/07/2008 07:33

LOL at this thread!

DS is almost 7 and was sitting on the loo yesterday doing a poo and I got called in as he apologised that he had wet the floor - "I was having a wee when I noticed that my wily was all stiff and pointing out of the toilet and not down so I wet my pants and shorts and the floor - sorry mummy!" So I asked why it was stiff - "I don't know Mummy - it just was" was the reply.

He does the pulling foreskin back too and stretching willy and asking me to bite it and massage it etc.

I had 3 sisters - have never had to deal with willies!

Oh - my Mum used to look after a little boy and when he discovered his willy he didn't like it and tried to crawl away from it!

MrsBigD · 18/07/2008 07:40

ah the joys... ds (3.9y) gets rather upset when his willy grows and wants it to be small again. I think he finds it rather uncomfortable as he asks me to 'put it back'. Have to have chat with dh to explain to ds how to readjust ;)

tiredemma · 18/07/2008 07:42

Dp said that a few weeks ago ds2 (age 4) was sat watching Tv with his hands down his p'js- he then said to DP- "look daddy- my willy is wriggling at me" and showed DP his erection- DP meant to say "put it away" but instead said "put it down" - and so DS1 (age 7 ) said " daddy- you cant just force it down you have to wait for it to go down- when I see the pussycat dolls it comes up so I turn over and put a cartoon on and it slowly goes down"

Dp was pissing himself

Buda · 18/07/2008 08:06

PMSL tiredemma! When DS was 3 he was really into ScoobyDo and had all of them as imaginary friends (yes it was wearing!) and one morning he was in the loo and I commented on his stiffie and he said it was because Daphne was there!

MrsTicklemouse · 18/07/2008 09:12

hahaha i get "mummy my willys gone big" to which i respond stop playing with it then!!! dont you love boys!!!

MrsTicklemouse · 18/07/2008 09:16

just read the foreskin bits, he was really sore and red a couple of weeks ago so, thinking he had an infection or something trotted off to the doctors, to be told, by very nice doctor, its not infected he's played with it so much hes ripped the frenulum a bit!!!!

champagneandroses · 18/07/2008 10:06

oh my goodness, never even realised that could happen!! Storing up all these responses for when my ds (4 months) is older, great thread ive nearly choked on my weetabix at some of them, pmsl.

wilbur · 18/07/2008 10:16

Ds2 (almost 3) is just learning to pee standing up so we are having a lot of careful holding of willy, and brotherly instruction from ds1 (7). It is utterly hilarious to listen to - ds1 "Now ds2, don't hold it like that or you will get wee on your hands, hold it like this [demonstrates]" Ds2 reaches for ds1's willy to practise hold technique. Ds1 "Nooo, hold your own willy!" ROFL. When ds1 asks about stiffies, we also go the "That shows it's working, totally normal" route, while stressing that it's private and not to be waved around at people.

snowleopard · 18/07/2008 10:16

DS is really into his atm - I'm dreading the foreskin moment as he's tried everything else (pulling, squashing, stretching etc). We tend to have this conversation a lot.

  • Can you do THIS with you willy mummy"
  • No DS, I don't have a willy. Mummies don't have willies.
  • Can you do THIS then
  • No, I haven't got a willy! Put it away now, it's time for tea etc.

(repeat x about 12)

DS in exasperation - Can you do it with you FLUFF then?

meridian · 18/07/2008 10:26

pmsl.. very funny thread... no really funny stories here.. DS is always messing about but sometimes we have to tell him to.. he had an infection a few months ago and his foreskin had closed up a bit.. he can wee fine but we have to tell him to pull his foreskin back everyday till it hurts.. otherwise he will have to be circumcized.. how can he play with it all the time but we still have to tell him to?

mcstress1 · 18/07/2008 10:32

lol....when my ds was 3, our toilet broke down. when we had a plumber fixing it, ds wanted to go to the toilet. i got the potty out so he could go, he showed me his stiffy and waving it around. before i could stop him, our 3month old puppy jumped up and bit it.OUCH. my reaction was 'it wont be the last time it happens' lol

witchandchips · 18/07/2008 10:35

ouch ouch

jeee · 18/07/2008 10:41

We told our DS (then 2.6) that playing with your willy is fine IN PRIVATE. Oh, says he.
Next day: "Mummy, what does that sign say?" "Private, darling." "Can I play with my willy there then?"
