Thought I ought to resurrect thread in light of the last post on it:

My two (9m and 2.2) go to bed between 9-9.30 (sometimes a little later if the story is a long one) and sleep till between 8.30 - 10 am) (and have naps in the day)

(So don't go all judgey if you hear your neighbours's kids running around at a time you think is late for them.)

Fair enough, turniphead. Especially if you have to deal with the fallout. -- and I realise all will change once school starts (a shame really as then they won't see much of DP) (and I won't be posting past midnight on mn )

Hi

Been a long time since I posted, but just had to add something here....

My ds, who is 13 months, goes to bed at about 10pm, but doesn't get up until between 9.30am and 10am. He has always been a late sleeper like this and I know I will have to change it when he starts going to nursery, but I am hoping I will have some notice and will be able to do ita bit at a time.

This is great for me though as I have always loved my bed and welcome the lie in!!

my DS is nearly 8mo and he goes to sleep about 9:30pm, then I put him in his cot and he usually goes through til 8:30am (not every night, but most nights). I'm sure I too am a bad mum for not putting him in his cot while still awake and making him learn to go to sleep by himself - but he doesn't, he just cries; and when he cries he gets so bloody hot that he needs a drink anyway after a few mins so pointless leaving him to cry.

I have tried putting him to bed when he has gone to sleep earlier, say 8pm, but he usually wakes up after about half an hour, so now tend to leave it until 9:30pm. I'm sure it will change as and when but for now, the lie in is nice in the morning!
