Hi! we are probably moving back to Germany after quite a few years in the UK. DS is 16 months and a second one will arive in december - and I was always keen on our children being bilingual. I would love to get in touch with English speaking families in Hamburg that we could meet up with!
Also, I have been considering speaking English to the dcs. I believe my English is very good (have been here since 96), but German IS my mother tongue. What do people think about non-native speakers speaking English to their children? Is it silly? Is it worth it?
