Mums: do sugar cravings hit once the kids are in bed?

Man here, so be gentle. I’m looking into how evening sugar cravings affect people, because they’ve been a big problem for me and my relationship, and I’m curious whether it’s the same for mums.

For me it’s after dinner. I can’t think about anything else until I’ve had something sweet, then I crash and I’m not really present with my girlfriend.

For mums: does it hit once the kids are finally down? What happens after, for you and for the evening with your partner?

I like to have a big bowl of frozen berries! Sweet enough to satisfy the craving but doesn't make me feel like crap either.

Frozen grapes are also really good.

You are posting this all over today. 🙄 No, I think most mums are too busy in the evening. By the time, the kids are in bed, I’m finishing any work and going to bed myself. I definitely don’t eat again at 9pm.

Absoheckinglutely! Get the kids down and adrenaline disappears, you realize how tired you are and dopamine seeking kicks in. And the more you do it the more your body anticipates food and you actually feel hungry.
