Sorry think this may be a long post
I have 2 children with my ex husband DS14 & DD12. We broke up 8 years ago. We've never had a formal 'shared care' arrangement. Just everyother weekend, couple of weeks over half terms with flexibility to swap if things come up. Been fine until November 2025. My ex and his partner found my DD had stolen a vape and she was accused of stealing make up from his partner. She took the punishment for the vape, but has always been adamant she didn't take the make up. My ex checked her make up bag at my house whilst I was there and the only make up in there was hers and mine. He wouldn't accept she hadn't taken it, and boxing day 2025 it reached peak and they had a massive row, I wasn't there obvs but apparently he was throwing he phone, trying to drag her out of bed, calling her unpleasant names. (Luckily her aunty was there and intervened). Since then she hasn't stayed over night and maybe spent 10hours tops with him. DS has still been going. A few months ago, I asked for an increase in our private maintenance agreement of £50 a month. To reflect the fact she wasn't staying. He said no, and essentially blamed me for the fact he doesnt see DD because I don't force her to go. So I went to CMS and put a claim in, and the monthly amount has now doubled. When he found out I had put a claim in he sent both the children a message saying 'I won't be seeing you for a little while, due to an ongoing issue with your mother'. On the claim I have put he doesn't have DD over night, but he keeps disputing it saying he does. And back and forth. CMS say they don't accept screwnshots of private messages between the two of us as evidence, but how long can he just keep disputing it and me not agreeing to it? What kind of evidence do they need? I am going to try call them but I work during the week and can't always just stay on hold
