How many dolls is a reasonable number for a six-year-old?

DC is 6yo and is increasinly getting into role play with dolls. She likes the smaller, barbie type ones.
So far she owns 6 Disney princess ones, 1 Barbie (mermaid) and 2 Lottie dolls. I was thinking of getting her a couple of barbies and some clothes for her bday but wonder if she’ll end up with too many dolls? How many is a “normal” number to have? I never had barbies growing up and always wanted them so don’t want to overdoit now!

I guess the question is whether she would play with any new ones. If she thinks she will then one or two more won’t do any harm. But you don’t want to end up with too much clutter and more than she will actually play with.

Dd has loads of Barbies, they are her favourite thing to play with and she uses them most days. Often she has some sort of large school game or similar going on.
