Does Universal Credit carers element count towards childcare funding eligibility?

I'm a little confused...

I work full time over 37 hours a week and my partner works just 8 hours a week but gets the carers element from UC due to our eldest son having additional needs, therefore is at home more for our eldest when needed.

I've just applied for funding for my youngest boy and it said about if you receive certain UC carers so we put yes but then it said Carers Allowance not Carers Element... they sent a message to say we are eligible but now I'm worried that they think we receive Carers Allowance rather than the Carers Element. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Can anyone confirm if the Carers Element part of Universal Credit is also an element that allows you eligibility for funded hours 🤔 i don't want it coming back on us that we 'lied' when genuinely that was not the case.

Sorry, from one stressed out anxious Mum 🙈

Thank you so much 🙌 I thought it counted but then when it only gave you the option for Carers Allowance not Carers Element i was like oh c**p hope it doesn't think I'm lying... do you think I need to ring them just to confirm or will it be okay? 🤔
