Hi all,

I have an 11 and 9 year daughters and we live about 30 minutes south of Chester.

Can anyone suggest activities we can do with them that don’t cost the earth and aren’t just big days out?

We haven’t lived here long and were too late to book them in to any clubs.

We’re on week 2 and they’re sick of each other and bored.

Also does anyone else worry about the lack of freedom kids have? I would spend summer holidays with friends being pretty feral but my kids have no one to hang out with where we live and they both look very young (about 7) for their ages so letting them roam free feels risky.
