Safe wild swimming spots for children just outside London?

Anyone know some good wild swimming spots just outside of London that are safe for children?

safe is variable - there are many venues that offer supervised wild swimming at various times - eg try

do you want inland (rivers or lakes) or sea?

lots of Londoners go down to Brighton and swim in the sea there. You’ll need swim shoes it’s a pebbly beach.
