Fluid-filled spots on my six-year-old, any similar experiences?

Hi All,
what does this look like?
popped up on my 6yr old today… Not bothered him but there are small fluid filled spots and I’ve instantly thought ‘what if it’s herpes simplex’ and I have a small 2 yr old and trying NOT to over think and he’s given her kisses and such today.

Will get him seen tomorrow but any experience of similar in your littles?

Molluscum ? If so, harmless but contagious and can be a bugger to get rid of

herpes is very unlikely in a child- is it round his mouth/nose?

Molluscum Contagiosum (which always sounds like a Harry Potter spell to me 😅) was my first thought.

just took a look at Molluscum… Just doesn’t look quite like it.

Hoping the pic is approved shortly.
He had chicken pox a yr and a half back, so not sure he’d get them again and only on his face so far… The only other thing I’m thinking is impetigo as he’s had a rotten snotty nose this week that he’s likely wiped over his face but can’t imagine that too would get on his forehead 😬

Molluscum is very likely.

I can’t see a pic but my six year currently has fluid filled spots on his chest which have spread a bit to neck and underarm, they are painless and he has had chicken pox. I am assuming it’s heat related given the weather.

Reattaching in the hope that it pops up quicker.

Ah, on his face. Doesn’t look like molluscum, agree with pp that it might be a bit heat related - dab a bit of savlon on. Do they seem painful?

Impetigo?

If near his mouth I’d say hand door and mouth, can look similar to cp. Any in his mouth? They spread to hand, private area and maybe feet soon enough if it is. My DD had them terribly in her nappy area but nothing on feet.

I’m pretty certain it isn’t chickenpox, it’s not spreading in the way CP usually does and he had it only a yr and a half ago.

I'm wondering if it may be HF&M?
The only thing I’m desperate to discount is cold sore virus 😩

Could they be mozzie bites?

I think it looks like impetigo.
My first call would be a pharmacist.

@Tintarella I did think this… Though, they haven’t bothered him and he didn’t even realise they were there. Not a single itch.

Hmm maybe not insect bites then
but if it’s of any reassurance one of my DC gets cold sores and they’re always right on the mouth, not on the cheek like this/ completely different

Cold sores are usually closer to the lips.

Look out for blisters in the mouth and on the hands and feet for HFM.
