hiya, a lovely mumsnetter has given me 5 totsbots am v excited - want to make the switch to cloth, but dh reluctant to spend on upfront costs til he knows i'll stick to it. think he may already be convinced by the gorgeousness of the nappies. but i now need to get myself a couple of wraps and some liners. now, the sensible thing to do would be to find the wraps i like best and are cheapest online. but god i'm impatient and want to use these immediatley! am in south london -- my local mothercare is small and doesnt have wraps. where woud people recommend. john lewis maybe? be good if there was somewhere with a nice selection. tia

Green Baby in Greenwich sells lovely nappies.

ty DWP - just been checking out their website. looks like there is a chemist in dulwich that also sells nappies so may be worth the trip if there are two shops in one place. does seem that online has by far and away the best selection. just found the real london for nappies site - am that my council not in voucher scheme. moving next month and the council we're going to doesnt either

Hi Tyaca, I've been down this route already with no luck. Mine came from online or mail order shopping.

I like Totsbots nappies but hate, hate, hate their wraps and use Motherease wraps which I get from www.earthlets.co.uk who are very fast and helpful.

You can always sell the wraps and nappies if you decide they're not for you.

But I think cloth is so much better I wouldn't bother with disposables now, even if someone gave me a free supply and guaranteed they would biodegrade immediately they were off.

Born in Stoke Newington?
might be worth giving them a ring

Waitrose Canary Wharf sells Motherease nappies and wraps. Or Green Baby in Greenwich has a good selection - there's also a lady in Greenwich market who has a stall and does nappies.

There's a Green Baby in Richmond too if that's closer to you.

why not find an internet retailer local to you who does home visits/demos, google cloth nappies south london or similar. Or try lollipop, they are a national company who have nappy agents all over the country and they have a wide selection. lollipop
