Tips for helping my nearly 10 month old nap in the cot

Hi all.

LO will be 1 year old when I go back to work. 3 days with Nan and 2 days with me then full time nursery in November.

Our biggest issue, feeds to sleep for both naps and contact naps also unless in the car or walking in the pram! Any tips for getting him into his cot for naps ? Sleeps in own bed/room just fine at night time.

Need to crack this before I go back to work!

Get a routine going and stick to it. I’d try lunch at 11.30, nappy change then down for a nap in his cot at 12 for 2 hours. Same wherever he is.

We had one like this and he refused all the way. However the nursery cracked it within a few weeks - he’ll sleep on a bed there but still won’t at home! They have magic powers we do not possess 🤣

(We are still feeding to sleep and co-sleeping at 18m)
