DS2 is 7 months old and is a big boy - prob near 19lbs at least. Every morning and eve now my whole body is aching - esp round the shoulders and neck, from having to lug him around all day! Anyone else suffering too?

Yep! He's almost 8mths, and also quite clingy, so is being carried alot. He's over 22lbs already, and in some 12mth old clothes. I'll be sooooooo glad when he can walk!

Yep- And mines only 4 months. Flippin eck! Been constantly going to bed with aching shoulders and neck.

Are either of you still breastfeeding as well? I thought it might have been that contributing too...for me anyway.

DD2 is around 16/17 pounds, thank god for walkers & gyms. I'm way older than when I had DD1 & she was cruising the furniture by 6.5 months so didn't have to lug her quite as much.

Had to carry LO home from school run this morning as she wouldn't settle in the pram and I'd left dummy by the door on way out. I was knackered & perspiring profusely (to be polite) by the time I got in & it's only a few minutes walk but pushing pram too.

She's taking quite a few steps when you hold her little hands so hopefully she'll be off on her own before I'm broken!
