Is it fine that my 12-year-old prefers being at home?

My 12 year old daughter is much happier at home than out at park etc. is this ok? She’s very happy and bubbly and seems to be getting on well in year 7 and has made new friends however once home she’s happy to stay put rather than go out … we do go shopping and she does see friends in holidays (sometimes with me as well). Just worry as we live in road with 2 other girls from her class (and indeed primary) and they are always in the garden next door sometimes with other girls and I worry she is upset about not being included (not hung around with them for a few years now and quite different to them) she says she isn’t at all - I wonder if they do it on purpose but that could be my overthinking and not hers! If she’s happy I guess I should be happy and count my lucky stars she wants to be home eh!

Why would she feel excluded from neighbouring children who she’s not friends with? They get older, they don’t necessarily want to meet up at the park with friends.
