Does anyone else give cows milk to babies under 12mths.

I have a ds who is 10 mths & give him cows milk, but another mumnetter doen't recommend this. Does anyone else do this?

I didn't give cow's milk till 12 months as the health visitor said it would give my son diarrhoea...

My son is 1 on Feb 11th too.

He is breastfed but he has normal cows milk on the days I work.

I started my DS on cows milk when he was 12 months and it really upset him, he had really loose stools and it was definitely the milk as he was not ill and as soon as I stopped giving it to him everything went back to normal. I then introduced it, ounce at a time and by the time he was 15 months he had just cows milk in his bottle.

Thats the way I did it too.

Swapped from formula to cows milk at 11 mths.
