6.5 month old won’t have a bottle in the day only during the night! Help!

I started weaning my baby boy around 5 months old as formula alone just wasn’t filling him up and he’s a big boy! He has taken to solids really, really well but perhaps too well…. All he wants in the day is solid food, I’ll do a bottle for him and he’ll have about 2 ounces of it and will refuse anymore and then 9 times out of 10 he will sick it up! He doesn’t usually even have a bottle before bed. He wakes around 10pm for a bottle which he has all of (6/7 ounces) and then again 3/4am and has another 6/7 ounce bottle.

I’ve tried stopping solids but he kept refusing the bottle still.

I believe I give him a good varied diet of healthy fats (avocado), protein (tuna) and vegetables amongst other foods and he drinks water well so I’m not too worried about him nutritionally or getting dehydrated, but the night wakings are killing me (I have a toddler who rises very early in the morning and doesn’t stop until bedtime!) so I’d love to get the 2 bottles he does have in him in the day in the hope he stops waking for the 3/4am feed at least…

Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks
