Anyone know how to lock the base on a Hauck travel cot?

Recently purchased a Hauck Sleep N Play Centre Travel Cot and nobody can figure out how to put it up!
We've followed the exact instructions, many times and watched many videos. We've made sure to lock all 4 sides with the base still up and the 4 sides lock and click perfectly, then when trying to push the base down it just doesn't lock or click down at all - it will go all the way down and just bounces back up and won't stay down. Please help! 🙃

It could be faulty, but just checking - there is a specific order to do it in and it's not intuitive. I had a similar issue with this exact cot. Unfortunately I don't have it any more to check but check you're not mixing up the order of the steps.

I think you leave one side unlocked, push the base down and then lock tye side up.

Oh yes we have one of these! It's very anti intuitive but it can be done 😂 the moment you figure it out write it in your phone because you will forget every single time!

The base has to be lifted before you click in the sides. Lift the opposite sides, long v.s long then click in, then lift the short v.s short and click them in. Then push the base down. Job's a good 'un.

To collapse, start by pulling up the base, then the sides, like before but in reverse.

we've locked in the short sides then the long sides then pushed the base but the base just won't click in place :( we tried the opposite of locking the long then short but no joy either :(

I think this is right too. I had loads of trouble with mine and then found a solution online which I think was this one. It's been a while now so can't remember exactly!
