What toys are you 15 month olds playing with?

Lego!!! Started with mega blocks around 12 months, then Lego duplo around 14 months. You do have to play with them but by 15/16 months, it was giving us a 20 minutes breather for a coffee!

At 13 months - Building bricks, a small tea party set (with good tray to stop water spreading), a shape sorter, a small farm house and animals, a sand pit at stay and play (if monitored at all times), ‘Peekaboo’ books.

I bought mine a squeaky teddy but it scared him. He prefers ball games and lying in the sun.

Best toy I ever had for my three kids was an ice cream trolley / toy kitchen. Literally hours and hours of play

I was looking at toy kitchens earlier, is 15 months not too young?

His siblings, small ball. My boobs 😹. A door. Pram wheels. Toy garage

Anything that isn't a toy

Mine are older now but we had a toy supermarket trolley and fake food, lots of mega blocks and animal puzzles.

They didn’t give a damn about any of it and wanted to play with the door stop instead.

This was DDs favourite toy at that age.

Mine has had a toy kitchen from 12 months and loves it! We got the IKEA one for £65. I didn't buy any accessories, instead ds has tupperware pots, paper plates/cups, foil tray, wooden spoon etc all from our kitchen and he loves putting things in and out the cupboards, making a noise, stacking things etc.

Shopping trolley mainly puts teddies/anything in and pushes around. Ice cream play box and tea set and loves any type of book.

Duplo, books, my backpack (puts random household objects inside and takes them out again), soft toys (moving them from chair, to sofa, to chair...), football, toy pram.

Oh yes, emptying and refilling my handbag is one of his favourites 😂

Anything that belongs to his big sister. Bins. Toilets. Anything out of the kitchen cupboards, preferably sharp. Ditto alcohol cupboard. Big fan of hiding in wardrobes.

I’m a childminder, and they literally fight over who plays with this.

That photo instantly transported me back to being a young child and playing with that in my grandparents' house with my siblings and cousins!! A memory I didn't even know that I had so thank you to that PP!

OP a kitchen is perfect, mine played with them from a young age, lots of bits to fiddle with, open and close, knobs to turn etc, food they recognised. It’s open ended and she still plays with it at 7
