How many adults are scooting whe commuting or just scooting for fun? My 8 and 11 year old love scooting and I am thinking of investing in a scooter to ride along them, but also think it would be great for my London commute twice a week to scoot to the office from the Tube.

Following with interest! My two scoot everywhere and at the moment I’m just running beside to keep up with them but I have been wondering about joining them and getting an adult scooter.

Id love a go on one of those electric one you can hire in some cities but in my 70s I might not be very good and don't think I should risk a broken hip.

First place I ever saw adults scooting was in London about 20 years ago, albeit in the parks rather than main roads. Id prob be anxious about my safety on the roads and I don't think an adult could ride on a pavement? (Bike lanes prob ok? Do they have those in inner London?) And you'd prob want a folding one not to annoy other commuters as I imagine it could be a trip hazard.
