Can you buy baby formula after security at East Midlands Airport?

Hello! Google is telling me that boots in departures at East Midlands airport has closed. I was planning on buying our son’s formula once we’d got through security - is there anywhere else that sells it in there? Was hoping to pre order to make sure we got it too!
TIA x

Can you buy it before you go to the airport, the airport will have a list of shops, what formula is it

You can take baby formula and any baby food through security, I'd just bring it with you, I wouldn't risk it.

I took loads of expressed milk, homemade food and food pouches through the airport for a long haul flight recently. No one at security batted an eyelid.

Whaaaaat! I click and collect all our toiletries from there when we fly 😭

Apparently they are expanding the WH Smiths according to Google, maybe contact them to ask if the sell formula?

You can take it.

We used to take a bunch of ready mix and then a Nuby and powder just in case. Which we did have to use once when we got diverted and stranded on the plane.

Formula is just powder anyway and you aren’t restricted on bringing normal amounts of baby food and milk with you. Just buy it at home and bring it with you.

I doubt it.

I think on some airlines you can take baby food in addition to your normal luggage allowance if that helps?

it was more for space I wanted to buy it at the airport - I knew you could take baby food/formula etc but I’m already overpacking as it is lmao! First time abroad with a baby so any tips also welcome 🫣😅
