Is my baby’s red hair growing out??

Am I going mad (seriously I don’t know anymore 🥴🤣) or is my sons beautiful red hair growing out to blonde?

it looks like this in low lighting, but when the sun shines through it it’s very red. We call it chameleon hair 🤣🤣

We would love to know other people’s thoughts as this is a surprisingly big debate in our household. 🤣 I think it is.

It's more likely that the lighter bits will get darker red.

My daughter is a red head and looks different colours depending on the light

He’s like my DS. He’s a strawberry blonde.
It’ll darken. He’ll probably be a honey colour.

DS2 was very strawberry blonde as a baby, and I wondered if he'd go fully ginger, but it gradually changed through golden to quite dark blonde now. My two nieces have been very clearly ginger right from the start, as is their mum, my DSis.

My son started chocolate brown then it grew in WHITE blonde then it changed again to dark blonde its slowly darkening off now more he is a teenager his younger brother started dark blonde and darkened to chocolate brown strangely big sisters hair started dark and stayed dark

My son’s hair looked just like this when he was a baby. I so hoped it would stick around as it was gorgeous but alas it wasn’t to be! He’s a lot blonder now at five but kept the red undertones. You can only really see it in photographs though :(

And yes it was a big yawn 🤣 I was dark red when I was born, and had lots of it, and eventually I ended up white blonde over a couple of years, so I’m wondering if he will be the same. At times he looks WHITE blonde underneath and then other times he looks absolutely ginge all the way through. 😂 we call him Chameleon hair/peachy. Thank you everyone x
