Finished antibiotics for a UTI, now very thirsty and peeing more

hey! My little girl has just finished antibiotics for uti and is very thirsty and peeing more? Is that normal?

GP appointment I think and a test to check for Diabetes which often starts after an illness/infection.

She was at dr again today to make sure she over uti and she did urine test and it was clear! Is that good sign? I’m freaking out now about diabetes

If she's still very thirsty and drinking a lot I would go back to the GP and ask for a finger prick blood glucose test as it's more acurate than a urine test.
