Why has Wandsworth reset its secondary school waiting list rankings?

Wandsworth reverted their secondary school waiting list to 27th March, after posting details on 17th April with the new ranking. Any parents with more experience, why is this happening? After seeing on 17th April that we were moving down 4 spots and being very close we are back where we were. I am very confused and not sure what to think now. Has this been done in previous years?

Sounds like a mistake to me. Have you asked admissions?

IIRC the wait lists for secondary are deleted in June and people have to reapply as an in year admission to be on them. Not sure about primary school

@nedelcy you'd probably be better to contact them directly by email or on Monday by phone, if no-one here is able to answer your query.

Contact the School Admissions Section by email at
[email protected] or by telephone on 020 8871 7316.

Typical Wandsworth move is to do this on Friday, once their lines are closed. FYI the waiting list is active until 31st Sept. I guess I can ask on Monday.
