Is my baby going through the 4 month sleep regression or is it something else?

Hello!
I have a 4 1/2 month old baby boy. He’s been an on and off okay sleeper and we’ve finally got him into a good bedtime routine and felt like we’ve been getting somewhere! But this seems to be going downhill the last few nights, at around 9:45-10PM every night he’s been waking by rolling onto his side and arching his bed and then crying, his cry doesn’t seem like his usual cry and sounds to me like he’s in pain. We’ve been trying to calm him back down in his next to me but this doesn’t tend to work so we will pick him up and try to settle him back down, again this also doesn’t really work so well then offer a bottle and he will drink it (he’s quite a big drinker!) even if it’s only been 2/3 hours since his last bottle. He’s usually pretty good during the day with going around 4 hours between bottles and during the night he can go up to 7 hours till his next bottle but the last few nights we’ve been having to feed him around 10pm and the he’ll wake again around 1am. Is this the 4 month sleep regression?? I feel like I’m losing my mind a little with it as he’s also been waking more in the night and we’ve been having to co-sleep with him to settle him, which I don’t have an issue with but it does mean I tend to not sleep very well.
During the day he’s got fussier and also tends to only nap for 30 minutes if that!
I think he’s also teething as he’s constantly chewing his hands and anything he can get his hands on instantly goes in his mouth!

Sorry for the super long paragraph but does anyone have any advice or has anyone gone through the same thing?

It could be he 4 month sleep regression but I’m wondering if he’s hungry? Have you tried adding one or two more feeds in during the day?

At 4 months it’s not really a regression. It’s them developing circadian rhythm. Then babies struggle to link sleep cycles which is what causes the wake ups. It’s so hard. How does he normally settle to sleep?

He’s drinking 180ml bottles 6 times a day😅 which is adding up to more than 1L of milk a day! When he wakes and doesn’t settle I’ll offer him a bottle but if I offer him more throughout the day he tends to throw up after! I just feel like I’m in a constant battle at the moment of trying to figure out how to help him

Usually with a dummy and after a bottle but during the day now he’s barely sleeping. Like today he’s only slept for an hour and a half and he’s been up since 8am till 7:30pm. We’ve done a lot today too, been to baby sensory, out on walks and played at home so I know he’s tired he just seems to be constantly fighting staying awake!
