Baby sleeping most of the day?

At what age would you worry about a baby sleeping most of the day except for feeding? My DD is 12 weeks and does have some periods of being alert and awake but also often just wakes, feeds and goes back to sleep. She does wake for feeds by herself (or sometimes because I’ve put her down or the pram has stopped moving).

At 12 weeks I’d say it’s pretty normal to still be having lots of sleep. Usually around 4 months they wake for a bit longer

Don't worry she'll have her big wake up soon. I remember asking the same question with my youngest.

But as always, if you're worried about something and your instincts are rattling a bit then always get them checked out. You know your baby.
