Babyproofing - how much to do

Baby is about to start crawling and so we’re looking to baby proof the house. What measures have other people taken? Do people do all the things recommended (like furniture anchors, the new lockable socket guards) or just stick with the more common ones like the normal socket guards, edge protectors, cupboard locks, stair gates, blind cord , making sure hazardous products are locked away etc? I have post natal anxiety so not sure if I’m getting too OTT or not. Thank you.

No socket covers: they make the sockets more dangerous. Beware ones abroad though; UK ones are far safer.

Anchor all bookshelves, wardrobes, chests of drawers and TVs to the wall.

Get cordless blinds in DC room and tie cords up in other rooms.

Got a grill to cover the pond.

Cupboard lock on cleaning products. Medicine in high cupboard.

All items with accessible button batteries out if the house or on high shelves.

First child got soft corner protectors; second child got sharp corners and a few bumps!
