Pram with a hood lock? 16 month old keeps pushing the hood back! 🤦🏼‍♀️

We have the Cosatto Wow 2 pram, and our 16mo has realised that, when the pram is in a full recline, he can gleefully and easily pus the hood back flat. Meaning there is absolutely no chance of him nodding off because he’s then fully stimulated by the world around him! (As in today, where it’s 12:30pm and he hasn’t had a nap yet as we’re out and about and he has FOMO.)

I had hoped the Wow pram would have some kind of hood lock, but no such joy. I guess we can fashion some kind of bungee cord lock to attach the hood to the pram handle but who has the time?

So, can anyone recommend a pram that has a fixed hood / hood lock, when the pram is in lie flat mode?

thank you!

Leave the him sitting up so he can’t do it

then recline once asleep

Perfectly normal for a 16MO to not have napped before 12:30. Most young toddlers move to 1 nap by 15 months and then sleep something like 1-3pm. Maybe it’s your nap expectations that are off and the fact that he’s fighting the nap by messing with the pram hood is a symptom of that?? But if you do need a solution get the snoozeshade- they’re a brilliant invention!

Hi, no, it’s not my nap expectations that are the problem… it’s the fact the hood on the pram can’t be locked into place meaning he can flip it back at will. 😁

(FYI - baby is just coming off the tail end of scarlet fever, was absolutely shattered from about 10:30am this morning, is already on one nap a day, and if he slept til 3pm he’d be up til gone 9pm at bedtime (ask me how I know! 😆).)
